November is Adoption Awareness Month

November is National Adoption Month. This is a time set aside to raise awareness about the needs of some our most vulnerable children. Everyone is not called to foster, but everyone is called to care.

Take out your phones, scan this QR code, watch the videos that TN Kids Belong has created, highlighting their personalities, and pray for each of them throughout the month of November.

If you are considering fostering, contact Aisha Ward at 90-338-5221 and let her know.

Operation christmas child

Our vision at Grace Fellowship is to make disciples and reach the unreached with the gospel. That is why we partner with Operation Christmas Child each year. This year our goal is to pack 1,000 shoeboxes! There are many ways to help:

1.  Fill a Box: There are shoeboxes in the hallway for you to take home. Pick up a “How to Pack a Shoebox” brochure for instructions. Fill the box with fun toys, personal care items, and school supplies. Pray for the child who will receive the gift. Then return to GFC.

2. Build A Shoebox Online: Of the 1,000 boxes, we would like 150 of them to be online.

These online boxes go to the hardest to reach places on earth. For us to track them, you must use this link, Click Here. You can also scan the QR code which is also located in the church hallway.

3. Pray: There are prayer guide bookmarks available at OCC table.

4.  Volunteer for National Collection Week: We also collect shoeboxes from all over Sullivan County during Collection Week, November 17-24. We need volunteers to help with a variety of jobs throughout the week. Sign-up sheets will be located on the OCC table in the Gathering Area.

5. Hospitality: During National Collection Week we love to provide snacks for volunteers. If you are willing to help in this area, a sign-up sheet will be on the OCC table.

To learn more about any of these ways to participate, please contact Jamie Grove 860-965-4522 or Melissa Pitts 870-384-4021.

Worship together

Worship together: November 29

This special 90-minute worship experience invites you to pause between the busyness of Thanksgiving and the beauty of Christmas to reflect on God’s faithfulness.

We’ll begin with songs of gratitude, remembering the goodness of God, and move toward the hope and joy of Christ’s birth through communion, Scripture, and Christmas worship. The evening will feature live acoustic and orchestral elements (including cello, brass, and mandolin), powerful visuals, and moments of quiet reflection.

Come with a grateful heart — and leave with renewed hope. Join us on Saturday, November 29th at 5pm.
