This Sunday, Dave Schubert will continue our new series "From the Heart." In July, we are hearing from several of our Elders about what God has laid on their hearts.

THIS SUNDAY - Water Day is coming to Grace Kids! Littles and Elementary kids will enjoy water games and splash-filled fun during both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services. Be sure to send your child with a towel and a change of clothes, they're going to get wet! It's going to be so much fun.

Coming Up: Level Up Sunday is almost here! It will be Sunday, August 2!  Kids will "level up" into their new classrooms, meet their teachers, enjoy a fun lesson and a sweet treat (in elementary), and get a preview of all the exciting things coming up this year in Grace Kids. Join us during both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services as we celebrate a brand-new year together!

In Office News...

Director of Grace Kids, Ashley Masten, will be on a 6-week sabbatical starting July 20 and going through August 31. If you have needs that you would typically contact Ashley regarding, please contact the church office and someone will be happy to help you. 

This weekend, we will celebrate Andy Malcolm and his 10 years of faithful service on the GFC Staff Team!  Andy is our Associate Pastor and an Elder at GFC; we are truly grateful for all he does for our church and want to celebrate his tenure with us. 1 Timothy 5:17 says, “The Elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor…” Andy serves us well and we want to honor him! A reception with light snacks will be held in Andy’s honor following both services this Sunday. If you would like to bring a card with encouragement for him, please feel free to do so. There will also be cards available to sign to write a note of thanks and encouragement to him. 

Prayer for the GFC CCA Mission Team July 12-15

1. Please pray for safety for attendees as they travel to the conference from all over the world. 

2. Pray for the CCA board.  There are so many details!  

3. Pray for the team members-that their hearts and bodies will be prepared to serve, for safe travel, and for God to show us things about the global church that they have never seen before. 

4. CCA is a connecting point where Christians can meet and develop partnerships. Please pray for the needs of God's work among Afghans, and take steps to better serve them.  Pray for these connections and opportunities. 

Ashley Masten, our Director of Grace Kids, will be on Sabbatical July 20-August 31. We are thankful that our Elders at GFC allow for times of renewal and refreshing for our Staff Team each five years of service. This time away helps keep our team spiritually vibrant, physically renewed and emotionally centered. Please do not contact Ashley for church related needs during this time so she can fully rest and enjoy her time away to focus on her relationship with God! We invite you to select a day each week that you specifically pray for Ashley while she is away from our fellowship. There is a sign up sheet in the hallway you can sign if you want to sign up to pray and fast on one or multiple dates. Multiple people can sign up on the same date. If you have needs that you would typically contact Ashley regarding, please contact the church office and we will be glad to assist you. 

Oikos Church is officially launching this Fall! Kyle McHolland will be leading a team of people from GFC to begin this new church plant. We want to celebrate Kyle and Julia and the years of service they have given to Grace Fellowship. On July 26th, we will have a recognition time for the McHollands and we will pray over them and their team in our services. If you would like to honor Kyle with any gifts on that date, it would be a blessing to them as they begin this new journey.

Checks and designated cash in envelopes can be placed into the giving boxes at the church. Please send checks that are mailed in to: Grace Fellowship Church, PO Box 3369, Kingsport, TN 37664. You can use our website or app to give. When giving on our app, you can choose to pay the fees associated with your gift, which allows gifts to go further and do more in the ministries we support. As an added measure of security in regards to giving, please do not mail checks or have financial contributions sent to the physical Fellowship Point address.

Would you like to serve with our prayer team? There are a couple of different ways to serve at GFC.

The Intercessory Prayer Group meets Thursdays at 3pm. Anyone is welcome to come and join in and pray. 

Also, the Prayer Team serve Sundays after each service as they meet and pray with members or visitors who are in need of prayer after each service. There are currently openings to serve.

Come join us! We meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at the church from 10-10:45am and you can also join in by Zoom. Please note that there will be a 2-week break the last 2 weeks of July.
