Multiply Month

As the elders of Grace Fellowship wrestle through where we stand in the current stream of Christianity (where many churches in America are declining or stagnant), we are encouraged that we have been growing this fall as a church, but also desire to make sure we are focused on advancing the kingdom and not just adding people to our services. In 2024, we launched two Multiply Months a year (January & September) where our Sunday services and Life Groups dive deep into what advancing Jesus' kingdom biblically looks like.

Since we are set to plant a new church in 2026, our focus this January is on “Church Planting." Our sermons will cover the biblical foundation for church planting, how church planting fits with the mission of GFC, how everyone can play a part and then hear about the spring and summer plans for Oikos Church! All Life Groups will be going through the same questions and information, so that we can have a singular corporate focus.

Life group Sunday

Life Group Sunday will be January 11th. After both services, you will be able to meet our Life Group Leaders and find one that may be a good fit for you. Check out our current Life Groups on our website under CONNECT and in our app to see what groups will be offered.

Meet & Greet the staff

For those of you who have been visiting with us recently and are trying to find a church that’s the right fit for you, we would like to invite you to a Meet & Greet with our Staff on Sunday, January 18 at 12:15pm in the Gathering Area. This will be a time for you to get to know our ministry staff in a relaxed setting and be able to ask any questions you have about Grace Fellowship. We will provide lunch for everyone so please sign up in the hallway. We look forward to getting to know you!

Food Pantry & donations

We were challenged in Joel’s recent sermon series to put our faith in action in a variety of ways:

1. Have a yard sale.
2. Give to our benevolence fund through our app, website or giving boxes - designate "Benevolence Fund."
3. Donate pennies.
4. Donate non-perishable goods for our short term food pantry for those who attend GFC.

Pennies & Food Pantry Update:

GFC…thank you for your amazing generosity!  Once again, you all are giving in countless ways to help and give through Faith in Action by donating pennies given for our benevolence ministry and through donating food for our GFC food pantry!

We will continue to collect pennies and the drop off is in the Gathering Area.

Here’s an update on Food Pantry: We are almost completely stocked with numerous non-perishable items!  We will update on specific items if and when the time comes that additional items are needed.

This Food Pantry is meant to bless people in our Faith Family- if these items will bless you and your family, please take advantage of this ministry!

Our updated food pantry times and days for the next couple of weeks are:

Monday afternoons from 12pm-2pm

Sunday mornings, from 8:30am-9am and 10:15am-10:45am.

Please don’t hesitate to come and fill up a box of needed items for your family!

Donate to the harris family in Jamaica

Fitz Harris shared about his family that lives in Jamaica being severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Please keep them and their community and church in prayer as they rebuild after the devastation they endured. A GoFundMe link has been set up to receive donations. This is the most direct and simplest way you can support the Harris family. All proceeds will go directly to the family to help their homes and business that were wiped out, provide safe drinking water and help in additional ways they need.  They are greatly appreciative of any generosity offered! Lauren Gibson, a Certified Christian Life Coach, will be leading the session on setting goals for 2026 in multiple areas of your life. We will use scripture, behavioral science tools, prayer, and partnership with the Holy Spirit as you consider where God is leading you in 2026.

No regrets men's conference

Streaming at Grace Fellowship Church, Kingsport on Saturday, February 14, 8:00 AM -2:15 PM.

Men, mark your calendar.  It is once again time for the annual No Regrets Conference!  At this conference, men will be encouraged to walk in loving, trusting obedience to Jesus: personally, in our families, in our community and in our work. The theme for this year’s conference is “Surrender”. Romans 12:1  says to "...offer your bodies as a living sacrifice."

All men, including male teenagers are invited.  You are encouraged to bring your friends and family.  There will be special door prizes to include tool sets and gift cards from Lowes and a special drawing for those who bring guests from outside of GFC.

Please register on the calendar link on our app or sign up in the hallway at church.  The cost is $20 per person with breakfast and lunch provided!  You can pay using cash or checks and put in an envelope in the offering giving boxes. You can also pay online here by giving to the General Fund and then putting a note that it is for the conference. Please designate all registration money with your name and "Men's No Regrets Conference". Contact Keith Bennett for questions at 423-292-2621 or keithb106@gmail.com.

So, join us on February 14th with other men from around the world as we discover how to Surrender to Jesus and discover what it means to be on mission for Him.
