OUR PERCEPTION

ON MONEY

"Yours, o Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, o Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all."

1 Chronicles 29:11

Have you ever thought about the fact that everything we have comes from God? Many people long for the security and comfort of wealth, yet the Bible tells us that our relationship with Jesus is the place where we find true wealth. As a matter of fact, Jesus spoke more about money that he did heaven or hell. So if the proper use of money matters to Jesus then it should matter to us.

Following Jesus' example, we think of money as a very important and necessary part of life. Money is a tool that can be used wisely or unwisely. Like many things, money reveals our heart toward God and other people.

We believe all maturing followers of Jesus demonstrate a growing understanding of how to use money as a means of worshiping God and blessing others. These followers give tithes and offerings to their local church and give generously of their time, talents and financial resources to other kingdom causes. They also understand that the local church is God's blessing to them as a primary place where they can be spiritually nurtured and encouraged.

When you give to Grace Fellowship, you are demonstrating a heart of worship toward God and actively supporting the staff, ministries and kingdom impact of our church. We are transparent with how we manage our finances and generous with the resources God provides through your tithes and offerings. If you have any questions about how we manage our church finances, please feel free to contact Joel Owen or one of our elders.
