Nathan grew up in Kingsport before getting a degree in math education from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Liberty University. Nathan has done therapy work throughout the community, but is currently teaching high school math at West Ridge High School. Although he loves teaching and counseling, Nathan’s favorite time is spent with his wife, Stefani, and his three boys: Hanley, Shepard, and Braylen.
Nathan is a sports fanatic and although he is a Virginia Tech fan at heart, he was raised well enough to appreciate the SEC as the true epicenter of all things football! Growing up as the son of a pastor, Nathan developed a heart for loving and serving the local church and he has a specific passion for teaching, equipping, and supporting disciples of Jesus.
