Andy grew up right here in Kingsport and has a business degree from Furman University. He also has a master’s degree in teaching and counseling from East Tennessee State University. Because God’s very nature is relational, Andy seeks to help believers connect more deeply and genuinely with God, with fellow Christians, and with the unchurched.
Andy is married to Julia, and they have two daughters, Ellie and Analia. He’s a soccer fan who cheers for Liverpool and Barcelona. He also loves to hike and travel.

She has served as a youth pastor, worship leader, small group leader, children’s minister, and executive administrator through her years in ministry. Debi is a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Biblical Counseling. She desires to intentionally equip women with the Word of God and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit through accountable relationships to know and follow Jesus and then watch those women replicate that relationship with others.
Debi has been married to Joey Porche for 39 years. They have three adult children and three grandchildren (pictures and videos available upon request). You may see them with a “bonus child” from time to time as they are also foster parents. Baking, cooking, hosting, kayaking, concerts, playing with the grands, and the privilege of being an “older woman teaching the younger” are things that she enjoys.
McKenzie was raised in Bluff City, TN and graduated from ETSU with a degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in an intensive care unit and as a clinical instructor for nursing students at surrounding universities before becoming a stay-at-home mom after the birth of her first child. During this time, she took up bookkeeping for her family's small business and that eventually led to her role here at GFC. McKenzie is thrilled to be serving at a church she loves so much-one that has walked with her through many seasons of life, has offered genuine community, and has been instrumental in growing her and her family's faith in God. She truly enjoys meeting the needs of others and believes helping on the financial end enables her to do just that, whether it's ensuring someone's basic necessities are met or helping in the growth of another's ministry.
McKenzie is married to her wonderful husband, Eli, has an amazing son, Easton and is excited to welcome daughter, Emory, soon. Her favorite thing in the world is spending quality time with her family! She also enjoys a good latte, watching movies, long car rides (especially if they involve sightseeing and singing!), cold weather, and has a bit of an obsession with organization and her day planner.
