Beginning Tuesday, August 20th, we will be offering a 12-week course called Turning Points: The History of Christianity. The history of Christianity focuses on the people, places, and events that have shaped our Christian faith.

In this course, Clift Ward (GFC member and Professor of Theology at Milligan University- [only if you like this, Clift]) will guide you through a study of the significant people and events that have shaped our Christian faith—from the earliest Christians in the 1st century A.D. to the modern Christian church in America.

This study can offer answers to a number of questions you may have always had but never felt like you could ask. Studying the history of Christianity will allow us (1) to be reminded that the Christian faith is a historical faith; (2) to understand Scripture more clearly; (3) to engage our culture more faithfully; and (4) to love God more deeply.

Sign ups will be available on the GFC App and on Sunday mornings. (date, time, cost and location of study)

You can sign up for this study HERE.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God”

Hebrews 12:1-2
